Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

i have an exlover that refuses to leave, he has never supported the household financially,and i no longer wish to support, or live with him, how do i legally get rid of him? also im scared of retaliation.

If he is not on the lease, mortgage or title to the premises, you can evict him throgh an Unlawful Detainer action.
