Ex fiance wants to sue me for his debt...
While living together we purchased new bedding on his Macy's card. We broke up before we moved into the new home we bought it for. Since I was taking the items with me I said I would pay for them. I have since paid Macy's $515 on HIS account, my name never on the acct. This amount covered the total cost of the items but he wants to sue me for the addl. intrest amount Macy's has applied to account. I fullfilled the obligation I promised to pay for the items but I have not been willing to pay them any extra on his account. He is harrassing me telling me he is going to have me served a summons to court. Can he sue me? He purchased these with me online but since we broke up I paid for them. Does he have a case at all??

He can sue you in Small Claims Court and you could be required to defend. So, with respect to whether he can sue you or not, the answer is yes.
The real question is whether he could win on these facts. The amount of the interest on $515, even at 20%, would likely be something in the area of $10-$50. He would have the burden of showing how that was calculated. I doubt seriously that he could do that. If your agreement was to pay the principal, and not the interest, then I think the Court would likely dismiss his lawsuit. But you'll need to show up and defend.
Are you not just overjoyed you didn't marry this jerk? If he sues you he will simply prove himself to be a bigger cad than he already is.
