general civil litagation
i was involved in a car accident, it was my fault and i didn't have any car insurance. the man i hit and his insurance company are suing me. i do not own anything, all i receive is my social security disability check every month. i have no house car stocks are bonds. what should i do.

If he gets a judgment against you and you fail to satisfy that judgment you'll lose your license until the judgment is satisfied under the financial security law. If you do not have assets, you may not have any recourse. If you cannot afford an attorney, see Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, or go to one of the law schools (where they have free legal clinics for people who cannot afford attorneys). Someone should be able to help you defend this lawsuit.
