If there is a judgment, they may have a lien against your real property. There is a case now that says a judgment lien does not attach to a homestead (your home), but can still attach to business or rental property. In that case, the judgment lien holder may be able to foreclose their judgment lien, even if they are already garnishing yrou wages. As this could alter your ownership of property, you should consult direclty with an attorney in your area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation. Have that attorney look at the documents you were not able to provide here, and ask you follow-up questions.

Good luck
