My husband and I need access to financial records for condominium association trial in which we will be representing ourselves. Can you tell me how I can go about obtaining these documents so that we can better prepare our case? Thank you much!

You may be able to obtain the information you seek by Interrogatories or Requests for Production or by a subpeona or deposition. Which to use is a strategic decision in your case development. If you have chosen to try the case Pro Se, you may still hire an attorney to assist you in preparing yourself for trial. Drafting discovery requests rare among the type of limited representation tasks that successful Pro Se litigants use.
