Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri
We live in rule Missouri and a neighbor hired a tree company to remove walnut trees from their property. They crossed our property line and removed 2 $1000 trees. We have talked with the tree company -but they keep stalling - should we just sue them or try to get them to pay the $2000. (we've heard Missouri law pays 10x for this situation).

Obviously, you want them (or their insurer) to pay without being sued. But, if they keep stalling, you should consult directly with a civil practice attorney, in your area. There isn't enough information here, to determine if you get any statutory damages.
Good luck
