Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

When plaintiff is filing an Amended Pleading before and Answer is filed by the defendant before the 30 day has ended, what is the proper way to serve the Amended Pleading? Does the Amended Pleading need to be served by sheriff again or can it be served by certified mail?
