Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

Restaurant

I went through a drive thru and paid for my meal and receieved my meal. I drove to my house where my Fiance and I sat to eat dinner. The door bell rings and there is an employee of the restaurant I just left demanding the money for the food, saying I did not pay. I showed her my reciept and she was still rude. Was the employee allowed to follow me to my home?

Re: Restaurant

Under the facts you describe, it does nto appear that the employee violated any laws. If they knocked at your door and you opened it and let them in, they have done nothing wrong. If they left when you told them to, they still did nothing wrong. But, if they entered without your permission, or refused to leave, then they have violated several criminal statutes and possibly some municipal ordinances. to my knowledge, there is not laws against following another driver on public highways.

Good Luck
