Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

My Rights

I was getting a room and a cop came behide me and he was waiting till I get done getting a room.the lady gave me my room number and sent me on my way.the officer ask for a person (not me) that he was looking for.Some how he get my name dont know how dont know why she gave it to him. Can the front desk person do that after she have no reason to give out my name /Is that a laws suit and can a officer get my name legally from a worker from the front desk just cause he want it? I didnt do anything and he was looking for somebody else?
