Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

Yesterday, my two year old's pinky finger was slammed shut in a door of his daycare by one of the other 2 year olds. His finger was partially severed. He had plastic surgery last night. Can the daycare be held liable?

I am very sorry to hear that your child was hurt. The general answer to your general question "Can they be liable?" is a qualified "Yes." The daycare teacher(s), the director and/or the facility may be found to be civilly liable. These are very fact-specific determiantions.
