If someone reports fraud (medicare or insurance) and this hospital is fined and found guilty does the person who reported them get a reward? If so, how does he/she go about getting the reward

The law you are thinking of is called the False Claims Act. The False Claims Act provides for a reward if certain conditions are met. If you have information about fraud, and wish to file an action, one of the areas of expertise of this firm is that kind of action. Please feel free to call me.
