Can a U.S. Citizen (male) who is married to a Permanent Resident Alien (female) file a bankruptcy without it affecting the proof of support for his wife's immigration status?

If the foreign spouse has already been approved for U.S. Legal Permanent Residency, then the U.S. citizen filing bankruptcy should have no affect on the LPR (or the I-864) at all.
