Legal Question in Immigration Law in Missouri
Us citizenship
I am an international student and I wanted to know if there was anyway I can become a US Citizen and the steps I need to take to be one. I've been here for almost 3 years and I've started a new life here.

Re: Us citizenship
First, if you have a J-visa, make sure that you are not subject to the 2-year foreign residency requirement. If so, you will need a waiver. If not, then you can proceed. Next you will need to become a permanent resident through either employment or family, including marriage to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. After either five or three years of permanent residency, you can apply for citizenship.
