Legal Question in Immigration Law in Missouri
How do I keep my citizenship?
I moved to the U.S. when I was 2 yrs old. My parents became citizens after approximately 5 yrs of living here. I am now 23 yrs old and I need to know if there is something I need to do to keep my citizenship, or am I still a citizen? Thanks

Re: How do I keep my citizenship?
There is no retention requirement in the law. You will continue to be a US citizen unless you voluntarily renounce your citizenship or expatriate your self by committing certain acts like running for office in a foreign country. I suggest you obtain certificate of citizenship from INS and a US passport from the DOS if you don't already have those documents so that you have the proof of citizenship.
