Legal Question in Immigration Law in Missouri
Irish citizen married to US wife with 2 kids - best way to legally move over?
I would love to hear some professional thoughts on my case.
I am a Software Engineer who recently married my long-time fiance in the United States five months ago. She is an American national and I am an Irish citizen.
Up until a short time after the wedding, we had planned for her and our two kids to move to the UK with me. This plan recently changed once my wife felt that the kids would benefit from being near their grandparents, and so we are now looking at immigration options to help me move to be with my family - if possible sooner rather than later (If at all possible, we would rather not go through waiting periods that last several months as we've already been apart for so long).
I would greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts on what the best way to achieve this would be and how your services could assist with it. Another immigration lawyer has advised us that if I were to fly over we would be able to apply to start the immigration process a few short weeks after I landed as she is my spouse, and although this is a very appealing option, I'm uncertain of what the legal standing point on it is.
Your help with this matter would be much appreciated.
Thanks guys

I'd recommend on the K-3 spouse visa although it will take at least 6 months to process before you can officially enter as a K-3 spouse.
