Legal Question in Immigration Law in Missouri

What is my legal position as a permanent resident?

I am a permanent resident of US and am in the process of getting my citizenship. I am waiting for the date of my oath taking which I was told in March 2008, would be within a couple of months. In the meanwhile I would like to know that could it be possible for my husband, a US citizen to hinder the process of my attaining citizenship? Since he once told me, over a verbal argument that he could stop things for me. I have been a law abiding resident for more than six years and have no criminal record, in fact am a pre law student. Thanks for this free service. I appreciate it very much.

Your husband cannot influence your citizenship matter as long as you met all the requirements for citizenship and answered all questions truthfully.
