Bad Faith Claim
My attorney stated he was filing a bad faith claim against the at fault drivers insurance company on 4/28/08 as of 7/8/08 he has still not filed the claim...My attorney knows I am being evicted from my apartment and I have nowhere to go...Why would he drag this out? The auto accident injury occurred 17 months ago...

Lawsuits take time. You should be concerned if he was doing things too rashly, and without thinking them through. How long ago did you finish treatment for your injuries? Your medical care should be stable well before any lawsuit is filed in most situations.
That being said, more clients have dissatisfaction with their attorneys for lack of communication than any other issue! If your attorney is not returning your calls and letters, you may want to find someone you trust who will keep you "in the loop."
