Re: Car Accident

Ken,

I would have to know more facts about your situation before giving you any definate input on this. The simple answer is yes, you can negotiate a settlement for property damage and then a settlement for injury. However, it is highly advisable that you retain an experienced auto accident personal injury attorney to negotiate with the insurance company on your behalf. I have helped many people in negotiations and litigation with insurance companies for matters arising out of car accidents. Usually, the value of your claim will go up dramatically when you are assisted by an attorney. It is almost always in a claimant's best interest to be represented by an attorney when dealing with an insurance company. Typically, the attorney won't charge anything to help with the property damage claim and will charge only on a contingency fee basis (i.e. 1/3) to help with the personal injury claim. Please call or email me if I can be of assistance to you.

no attorney client relationship exists between us unless or until I have agreed in writing to represent you.
