Legal Question in Insurance Law in Missouri

changing lawyers

My family and I were in an auto accident and my son sustained a cut across his face. It is not healing quite right and there are more surgeries in the future. Shortly after the accident we found a lawyer to handle our case and now I am regretting that decision. I feel that he is not fighting for our son, and that there is more he could be doing. My question is how do I go about finding a new lawyer who is willing to fight as hard as I would. Also, by getting a new lawyer will I owe anything to the lawyer we currently have or will that come out of the final lawsuit? Also, what questions can I ask a prospective lawyer to see how he/she will ''fight'' to get me what I want and my son deserves?
