Legal Question in Insurance Law in Missouri
insurance policy value
My 86 year old brother has a life insurance policy for him in the amount of one thousand dollars issued by missouri Insurance company, St. Louis, Mo. Our mother took this out on him in 1954 and she was the beneficiary. She is now deceased. The company is probably gone. How do we find out if it has any value?

Re: insurance policy value
I would start out with the Missouri department of insurance to determine the insurance company's status. I would then contact the company (it is exists) and request all policy documentation. If you still have issues after taking these steps feel free to contact me.
