Find out what age you can emancepate yourself in the state of Missouri. Have a 17 year old brother-in-law trying to do so. Problems with legal guardian.

A seventeen year old can get emancipated in Missouri, under certain circumstances. What are the problems with the guardian? When will he turn eighteen? Why does he want to be emancipated (what would be different for him)?
