being charged twice
Can somebody be takin to court a second time for back rent after been takin once and told all they wanted was for you to leave the property

I didn't give much information, but the short answer seems to be yes. In the first lawsuit, call the rent and possession action, the landlord is given a quick court date to get you out, and because of that preference is prevented from claiming damage to the unit. In the second lawsuit, which is not given a scheduling preference, the landlord can put in evidence of all of the total various claims against you including past rent, future rent, damage to the unit, etc. My web site is www.curranlaw.com
