Collect Deposit

I rented a duplex from a real estate management co. Shortly after I moved out the management co. was shut down by the FBI and is out of business. This happened before I got my deposit back. I do know who owns the property but my lease was not directly with him. How do I go about getting my deposit?

Contact the FBI. The agent assigned to the case may be ale to tell you what assets have been seized. You may be able to Petition to get your money excluded from seized assets.
