Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

i have a friend who recently got evicted from her home.now her x landlords are taking her to court.what would happen if she just didnt show up?

If she doesn't show up, her landlords can ask for almost anything the judge will give them - back rent, interest, court costs, maybe attorney's fees. Be sure your friend shows up, preferably with an attorney. At least then, she will have a chance to answer to the petition. Feel free to email me if you want to discuss this.
