Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

I was kicked out of home Tuesday May 15. I was sent a text message telling me that I had to get the rest of my things off the property by May 25 at noon or I give up all rights to the rest of y things. Is this sufficent as a legal written notice and is it the amount of time I am supposed to be given to remove y things? Also I have two horses on the property can I take leagal action if they are mistreated or neglected? I live in Fair Grove Missouri.
