Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri
Landloard and Tenant Letter
I have some friends that are locked up for about a month and a half. And I have power of attorney over their stuff. The landloard has put a 10 day notice of abandonment on their dooor and I have read that if someone responds to the landloard within ten days stating that no one has abandoned the property in writing. What legal form can I use? Is there a special letter to use?

Re: Landloard and Tenant Letter
There is no certain form that must be used. As long as the rent is paid current, and all other vital aspects of the lease agreemetn are complied with, you can just send a letter that says "we are still here," and list the names of the people for whom you hold a poa.
Good Luck
