Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

I live in an apartment and just moved in last month. Since moving in the toilet hasn't worked and there is mold all over the bathroom. Upon repeated requests to relocate me, or put me in a hotel while my bathroom is gutted, I have been told no. And a month later, a gutted bathroom with no working toilet what should I do? The manager and staff have been fired and the complex bought by a new company who still won't help me and I have a lease.

You're not likely to get reimbursed for a hotel, but you s. Should at least get a temporary abatement of your rent. You may need to hire an attorney to negotiate with your new landlord.
