Locks

Our tenant that is 3 weeks passed due on rent and refusing to take calls at work has changed the locks on our apartment. Can we have a locksmith let us in to change to our lock so we have access to our property?

You need to follow the Unlawful Detainer statute and serve him with a notice to quit. Then you need to follow up if he doesn't leave in 30 days and file an action in Associate Circuit Court for Rent and Possession. If you enter without taking these steps he can sue you. So protect yourself and go through the court system. If you need help, see an attorney to get this done.
