Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri
My question is about my ex's personal belongings in my home that he has not gotten out since June 2014. I have text messages from him telling me to throw it way and one that says he will get will get his stuff out. The home is in my name only... I reside in MO and he currently is residing OK in an apartment. Do I have a legal right to get rid of his things myself or am I required to give formal written notice? Not sure if this falls under Landlord & Tenant law...

You can do both. If he ended.his tenancy, and you're still married, you can throw the stuff away. If there is a pending divorce case, you cannot get rid of his stuff, without written notice or an Order from the judge.
Good luck
