Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

I am a rental property tenant, I live in an apartment complex. I have been subjected to harassment (loud music after 10pm, destruction of property, etc), I have informed the landlady/property manager about this several times to no avail. It continues to be an issue and the landlady/property manager doesn't put a stop to it. Does this make the landlady/property manager as culpable as those doing the harassing?

If you have neighbors makin gloud noise after 10pm. the police is yrou first plce to raise yrou issue. You shoudl keep the landlord informaed of the issue. Yu may want to talk wiht yrou other neighbors to see if they also have problem with the late night noise. If so, you should go to the landlord as a group. Perhaps the landlord will do something about the loud neighbor. The landlord is nto normally held resposnbiel for tenants tha tmake noise. You did nto say what the "harrassment" was, so it is impossible to advise you on your legal position. If you are still interested, you should meet direclty with an attorney in yrou area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation.

Good luck
