Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri
My son and his family stayed 6 years in my home on my farm while I had to work in another state. I gave him access to my account to pay for feed, home and land repairs. Upon my return I found they took my money horded, bought items, left broken vehicles on property. I had to legally evict them. They left my home full of items. I gave court timeline to remove items . They never picked items up or broken vehicles on land. I am walking around boxes piled high and have almost no room to move. I am fighting cancer and have other heart and health issues. WHAT are my legal rights for abandoned property in Missouri? Can I sell to reclaim some of my own money he bought these items with so I can repair the neglected home and land? Can I have someone pickup and store items and bill them for the removal and storage? PLEASE help I am 69 years old and need assistance and he cleaned out my account leaving me no money, and a broken down home and land filled with cars..

If you executed on your eviction order correctly, under the facts you described, you may remove or sell the abandoned items. You may be able to charge them for the removal of the stuff, but probably not storage.
Good luck
