Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

I have a tenant that I let store items for a few weeks in the garage. The use of the garage is not part of the lease. It has now been several months and I keep asking her to remove the items. She has not removed them as of today, 10/11/10. Do I have the legal right to write her a letter telling her she must have the items out by a certain date or I will put the boxes by the dumpster?

If not what rights do I have?

You may write the letter, and hopefully it will work. You must give her an opportunity to remove the items. Yu ar ento totally protected in throwing out her belongings. If you use the spece to store other itmes, you may be in a better spot.

Good luck
