Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Missouri

�a man saying he was from osage county mo sheriff's office came by my former work asking for me. he was not in a sheriff's uniform, and he did not ask any other questions. i feel this is kind of strange since i have never heard of Osage county, and have never been there. should i be worried?

Call Osage County sheriff's office, or have an attorney contact them as your representative. They may just be looking for you as a potential witness. If no one from that agency went to your former employer, you need to formally report it. They will want the former employer to give them information about the imposter.
