Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Missouri

disabled because of botched surgery

Almost two years ago a friend of mine had knee replacement surgery and is still on crutches. A neighbor has had double knee replacement the last of June of this year and is doing wonderful. We believe it was through the negligence of the doctor that my friend is still unable to continue her activities or return to work and because of this she can not afford a lawyer. Please is there any help for legal action?

Thank you

Many lawyers (including my firm) who handle medical malpractice cases, do so under a contingency fee contract in which you pay no attorney's fees unless you recover. Cases of this nature are very complex and often expensive to pursue. You should be able to find an attorney to investigate the case for you at no expense. Please refer to my firm's web page which contains additional information on cases of this nature.

It is possible that the failure is due to a defective part. Check out our web page:

Proving a malpractice case is difficult. An attorney will need to obtain the medical records and have them reviewed by an expert.

But, it is a good idea to contact an attorney and have the matter reviewed. Our firm works on a contingent fee basis, as do many people who do this work. You should certainly feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
