Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Missouri

my fiance' has a medical malpractice suit that is about to go into the state's statue of limitations. He had a total shoulder replacement on his left shoulder on November 30, 2011, at Sikeston Missouri Delta Medical Center. He had a revision surgery on the same shoulder on January 26. 2013 in St. Louis, St. Mary's Hospital by a different doctor. The lawyer that was suppose to take the case sent him a letter that he could not represent him due to his current workload and constraints as a solo practitioner. The attorney had his file from August 12, 2012 until May 26, 2015. What can he do? Just about every person or lawyers office we contact won't take the case! We are look for an attorney to take the case.
