Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Missouri

Medical Malpractice

How do you go about finding a doctor who is unbiased? I am having a terrible time trying to find out what happened to me during my eye surgery. The doctors I have seen say that they don't know what happened because they weren't there but I believe they are trying to ''stay out of it'' or not getting involved. I just want to get help to fix my problems but in the area I am in, obviously the doctors don't want to do or say anything that may incriminate the doctor that caused my injury. I am scared to death that my permanent injury will stay just that - permanent - because noone is willing to say or do anything with me because they are acquaintances with the doctor. Please help me. I need to find a competent doctor that will be unbiased and honest. Any advice will help.

Re: Medical Malpractice

I have posted detailed responses to other questions concerning possible claims of medical malpractice. I believe that you can look them up on this site. Briefly, if you consult with an attorney, the attorney will need to obtain all of the pertinent medical records including any operative notes detailing exactly what happened during your surgery. Then, your attorney will hire an expert to review those records plus all other relevant information and provide an opinion whether or not medical malpractice occurred. This is a time consuming and expensive process. I would suggest that you consult with an attorney.
