Legal Question in Military Law in Missouri

Soldier Sailors Relief Act

I am an Army recruiter and have recently enlisted an idividual into the US Army. Due to his ship date he was required to break his lease and is now being held responsible for 2 months rent and forfieture of his security deposit. i am aware that there is a law protecting him from this called the soldier sailors relief act but I am having trouble locating it. Do you know where I can find it?

Re: Soldier Sailors Relief Act

50 USC section 464 Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act of 1910 and 1918.

Any decent lawyer should be aware of this Act. It is an affirmative defense that can be pleaded. If your enlistee continues to have problems, have him call me.
