Legal Question in Personal Injury in Missouri

Hit by a Car while on company time

I was on company time, when I decided to retrieve some notes from my car. As I exited the building and was approaching my car I was hit from behind by a person driving a car for a shuttle service, he said he did not see me. What are my rights for an accident like this? and what type of attorney should I be looking for to handle this case? Is there a limit on a settlement that I could recieve because of his negligence? How long does it normally take to settle such a case like this one.? How should I handle any medical bills that I receive such as ambulance, X-rays, specialists etc...?Should I return to work as soon as possible or wait to talk to an attorney to find out what right I may have? Could going to work to soon hurt my case in point? Thanks for all your help

Re: Hit by a Car while on company time

You need a personal injury firm to handle this. You may have rights under both Workers Compensation and state law. You should contact a Missouri attorney as soon as possible. Chris Wright in our Kansas City office 800-452-2526 or myself in the Jefferson City office 888-717-7575 would be happy to assist you.
