This is in reguards to your responce to my question about how long the insurance company has to settle. First off, my medical bills were in the $50000. My neck and back were both broke. I filed a suit against him in November 2005. My medical bills will never stop. I had a deposition on the 20 of July this year. The first week of August they agreed to settle for the maxium amount of his coverage. This was done verbally. I have filed a suit last Thursday for particial judgement. This just seems like it is taking too long. They know that there driver was 100 percent at fault. So I don't understand what else to do or how long I have to wait. Thank you for your time.

Are you doing this Pro Se? If so, I think you need a lawyer at this point. On a case like this, if you have been offered policy limits (if that really is their limits) Most firms will charge a very low fee to help recover it.
