Legal Question in Personal Injury in Missouri

Toxic Mold

We purchased a home about a year and a half ago, shortly after moving in my family started developing a cough, my daughter ran fevers the dr could find no answer to why. My problems have worsened daily headaches, forgetfullness, moodiness, ear infections, shortness of breath. Before we purchased the home we ask the owner if the basement leaked, he said no, after we moved in we found out that it did. It was not until the fall after moving in i decided to clean a closet we had put boxes in, that i noticed mold growing on the walls and boxes, ( a black Mold) After getting to know my neighbors they state that they could not believe the house was not condemned. The man who sold us the home put siding up over rotted wood, with no sealants.he cosmetically redid the home not fixing any existing problems. while remodeling a ceiling upstairs, (the owner had put up a wallapaper used for covering ceilings) we removed it and found several holes falling from the holes was a black dusty material. something that looked like the after effects of a fire. If infact we do have toxic mold can we do anything?

Re: Toxic Mold

This is a complicated problem, and one that does not lend itself to email answers, unfortunately. Please feel free to call me, without cost or obligation, at 314.621.6519.

I need to know the location of the property, if there was a fire, the extent of the disclosures regarding the basement leaks, and the diagnosis/prognosis for your family's health.
