adverse possession
abandoned house. not up for tax sale until next august. could i move in and adversely possess this property until next august and then pay tax lein to gain title? cannot locate owner of record. what is time frame of adverse possession in missouri?

Adverse possession takes years. If you move in now, you are at best a squatter, and at worst, a tresspasser, vandal, and possibly liable for any other illegal activity that other trespassers or drug dealers do in the abandoned house.
