Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

My boyfriend kicked me out after a year of living together with just a handful of clothes and nowhere to go. He says he's going to put my property outside for trash. I told him I am going to get the property, but it's going to take a few days. I didn't abandon the property. It's been 2 weeks since I left. Can he just throw the stuff outside?

If you are on the lease, or have established residency, he would have to go through formal eviction to not be liable to you for the Los of your property. You should consult directly with a civil practice attorney, in your area, to examine the facts of the particular situation.
