Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri
The closing agent is requiring me to pay in full by wiring funds twenty four hours before I close. I refused and offered to give the money to a local title company I trust. They are refusing to close unless I pay in full twenty four hours in advance. Is this legal.

It may nit be illegal for you to pay in advance, but it would be foolish. If they want you to write funds ahead of time, you should demand that a feed be issued to you prior to the funds being sent.
Good luck
