Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

what do I do when the general deed warranty continues to ask in which county do I live, but I live in the City of St. Louis which is not affiliated with any particular county.

Also, when I am including a married couple as the grantor, the states "an individual." Do I need to change that verbiage and indicate "couple?"

Transferring real estate and preparing deeds is mor than just filling in the blanks on a form.

In the first place, you are probably talking about a "General Warranty Deed", not a general deed warranty as you put it. Do you know what the legal significance of a general Warranty Deed is? do you know if you would be better off using a "Quit Claim Deed"? The City of St. Louis is its own County, and for most purposes it is sufficient to just say "the City of St. Louis". The grantor(s) on a Deed must be the owners of the property. You can tell exactly how the grantor(s) should be named by looking at the deed under which they received the property. do you know if they own the property as husband and wife? If so, then they hold the property as tenants by the entirety. If not they mighthold the property as joint tenants or as tenants in common. How are the grantee(s) going to take title? As joint tenants? As tenants by the entireties? As tenants in common? Believe me, you can cause a great deal of trouble and expense by not obtaining the legal assistance you need. It might take a very expensive lawsuit to fix the problems that you might create if those problems can be fixed at all. Consult with, and hire an attorney.
