Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

My girlfriend and i are renting a places together when she got in a car accadent and pasted away her bother has changed the locked on our house while i wasnt home his his also taking my mail from the mailboxs what should i do i live at this house and dont what to got to jail my girlfriends bother knows all the polic in our county so i feel like they will be on his side no matter what

You should,(with the landlords approval) change the locks again, report the theft of the mail to the US Postal service. The brother can get his sisters stuff, then he has to so entering your premises without your permission.
