Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

Okay, my ex girlfriend of two years broke up with me because she was cheating on me and decided she wanted something "better". I went to get some of my stuff from the house and I found that she had changed the locks. Now, my name is on the lease, and I have a copy of it. Can she do that? Can I just get in and change the locks back to the origional ones?

If you are on the lease, and lived there, your ex cannot lawfully evict you without court action. You should probably take apolice officer or trusted friend with you for safety, but you can enter the premises to obtain yrou belongings. You shoudl also let the landlord knwo that you no longer will be residing there. (you might remain liable for rental payments for the natural life of the lease)
