If my grandfather gave me some farm equipment seven years ago, and my grandfather has died, and there are no titles on the equipment, is the equipment legally mine?

Until somone will greater authority (i.e. PR in a probate case) comes forward wiht demand you may retain control over the equipmentl and probably continue using it the way your granfther anticipated you would. One year after the death of you father, you may treat the equipment as yrou own, unless an estate is opended or a claim for a determination of heirship is filed. If you sell the eqauipment, the buyer can keep it, if they did not have notice of any dispute as to ownership. But, you might have to pay the sales money into the estate, if one is opened for you grandfather.

Good luck
