Place anotice on the vehicle, and take an ad in the local paper informing this guy that you are going to sell the truck or have it haule doff. if he doe snto make contact w/in 45 days from a date you pick. You might also try searching for the owner through the state, based upon the license number of the truck. They might even be able to look under the VIN number, if the truck is not licensed. If yu cannot locate him, and he does not get back to you by Christmas, then sell the truck "as is" If the guy comes back later, it will be his job to prove you had his truck and that there was an agreement to store it.
