If you pay real estate taxeson a property that does not belong to you for a certain amount of years(how many?) is there a way that you can legally claim it after so long?

If you meet the criteria for an adverse possion, you might be able to make such a claim after ten years. Paying the taxes is partial evidence of the adverse possession, but does not in itself meet the standard.
Good luck
