Both person name on deed and other person name on loan

10 years ago i purashased a home and my patner decided that they did not want their name on the loan. I re finace the home about home 2 years later and my patner decided to add their name to the deed. Now, the relationship has gone sour and I want to sell the property and my loan. What obligations do I have with my partner

If both people's names are on the deed, then both people own the property. If you both agree to sell it, then there is no problem. If you don't agree you can file a suit in partition and obtain a court order to sell the property. Please consult with an attorney.
